Perri’s practice has focused on advising health systems, pharmaceutical companies, medical groups, and technology start-ups on a broad range of business, transactional, general corporate, licensing and regulatory matters for more than 17 years.
Her experience includes business formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and drafting and negotiating all range of commercial contracts for health and life sciences, including clinical trial agreements, service and consulting agreements, supply chain agreements, employment and independent contractor agreements, health plan agreements, and vendor agreements. In addition, she has experience advising clients on regulatory and compliance matters (including FDA compliance), and day to day business and operational issues, including developing and implementing policies and procedures.
A Boston native, Perri received her B.A. degree in Communications, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she was the Student Commencement Speaker of her graduating class. She received her J.D. from the Loyola Law School in 2003, attending in the evening while working full time as a Health and Welfare Benefit Consultant. After obtaining her law degree, Perri spent the first part of her career practicing law as part of premier health care practices at Hooper Lundy & Bookman, McDermott Will & Emery and Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where she represented health care clients on a broad range of litigation, transactional and regulatory matters.
In 2007, she went to work for IPC HealthCare (formerly IPC The Hospitalist Company) where she spent more than six years as the Vice President of Legal Affairs overseeing all legal functions of the company including negotiating and closing more than 90 physician practice acquisitions. Thereafter, Perri went to work for DaVita HealthCare Partners as Group General Counsel overseeing west coast operations. Perri returned to private practice in 2016 as part of the Health Care and Corporate Departments at Crowell & Moring, LLP where she represented small businesses, managed care plans and health care providers before starting her own practice in October 2018. In addition to her legal work, in 2021 Perri was elected to the Board of Directors of the Bear Valley Community Healthcare District.
Perri lives with her family in the mountains outside of Los Angeles where she loves to ski, hike, read and spend time on the lake.
