Natasha Lipcan

As an employment law attorney with over 20 years of in-house corporate and law firm experience, Natasha has represented private employers in a broad range of employee-related matters. Natasha provides practical advice and solutions that help employers navigate the business and legal challenges they face in today’s workplace. Her experience includes: employment law compliance; drafting employment-related agreements; diversity, equity and inclusion; arbitrations and litigation; drafting and revising corporate policies and employee handbooks; conducting workplace training; reductions in force and group terminations; and recruiting, hiring, managing and terminating employees. Prior to joining Outside GC, Natasha worked as an employment law attorney in the financial services industry. She was a legal consultant at a premier investment management firm and a senior in-house attorney at global banking giant, Citigroup, where she provided primary internal employment law support to various major U.S. lines of business. While working in-house, Natasha honed her ability to adapt to changing business environments and developed a deep appreciation for real world solutions. Before going in-house, Natasha was an attorney with Day, Berry & Howard (now Day, Pitney) in their Employment Law and Litigation department. While in private practice, she litigated employment law cases to verdict in both federal and state courts. Natasha is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Connecticut, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (inactive status). Natasha graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors from Vassar College, and received her J.D. with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was an associate editor of The Connecticut Law Review. Natasha lives with her family in Connecticut, where she serves on the Board of a local not-for-profit dedicated to ending homelessness.
