Michèle C. Linde is a Member of the Firm and serves as its Vice President, Attorney Affairs.

Michèle is a collaborative results-driven corporate global C-suite attorney with more than 30 years of in-house and private legal practice. She offers extensive experience within a diversified platform of life sciences spanning branded and generic pharmaceuticals, medical devices, academia, cosmetics and the champagne industry. She is a legal executive with experience holding leadership positions with well-honed problem-solving, strategic advising and delivering on corporate goals. A consummate team player, she aligns herself to support companies to reach corporate goals.

Prior to joining Outside GC she held the role of EVP, Global Corporate Governance, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary at Virpax Pharmaceuticals.

She is the founder of Sapphire Solutions AB, a legal consulting firm in Stockholm Sweden where she represented many companies as the general counsel including:

  • Akloma Bioscience AB
  • HATT et SÖNER Champagne (In France and Sweden)
  • Transderma AB

Prior to starting Sapphire Solutions, she served at the law firm Mannheimer Swartling in Stockholm. Michèle has also served as a Vice President of Endo Pharmaceuticals in the United States and she has also worked in the law departments of Astra Zeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb (in Belgium), and DuPont Pharmaceuticals.

Her focused skills include:

  • Senior leadership roles and a trusted advisor to CEO’s, executive teams and boards of directors.
  • Assisting clients in product development of pharmaceuticals from early-stage discovery through launch including advising on clinical trials and promotional review of marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Government and public affairs
  • Corporate communications
  • Establishing and implementing corporate compliance and ethics programs including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the United Kingdom Bribery Act.
  • Negotiation of commercial and academic transactions including drafting contract templates.
  • Developing guidance and instructing field sales forces.
  • Advising on general operations and developing and guiding clients across various functions.
  • Hiring and managing a large team of senior attorneys, paralegals and staff.

Michèle has served on the Board of Directors of the Biotechnology Industry Organization and is a dedicated advocate for Save the Children International.

Michèle is a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law (now Penn State Dickinson Law).

When she isn’t practicing law, Michèle enjoys traveling, playing classical piano and the harp. She can often be found relishing the crystal coast beaches chasing her not so well-behaved British cream retriever.
