Kevin is a corporate, commercial and transactional attorney with over 25 years of experience providing high value legal advice, strategic counsel and business judgment to public and private companies, entrepreneurs and investors. Kevin regularly works with entities at all stages of development and across a broad range of industries, including semiconductor manufacturers, technology companies, software developers, IT service providers and medical device companies.

Prior to joining Outside GC in 2022, Kevin served for 14 years as Assistant General Counsel of Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a leading global semiconductor manufacturer, where he had primary responsibility for several critical legal functions, including corporate and securities matters, M&A and venture investments, and global commercial transactions. At ADI, Kevin worked closely with the Board of Directors, C-suite and key members of the company’s senior management teams, providing strategic and tactical advice on a wide range of issues, including general corporate matters, deal structuring, negotiation and documentation, governance, risk management and compliance.

Prior to ADI, Kevin was a founding partner of a boutique corporate law firm in Boston providing representation and advice to public and private companies, individual entrepreneurs and private investors on legal, investment, transactional, commercial and business issues. He also co-managed all firm operational aspects, including strategic vision, finance and budgeting, employee and benefits matters, marketing, and client relations.

Previously, Kevin served as General Counsel at Sontra Medical Corporation, handling all legal and regulatory matters for the dynamic Nasdaq-listed medical device company, and as Associate General Counsel at CMGI, Inc., where he advised on dozens of domestic and international M&A transactions, investments and securities matters.

Kevin began his career as a corporate associate at Hale and Dorr LLP (now WilmerHale) in Boston. 

Kevin earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and graduated from the University of Maine, summa cum laude, with a B.A. in Economics.  He is a member of the Massachusetts state bar.
