Peter Gordon is co-founder of Patent GC. For over 30 years, Peter has worked in the patent field in both in-house and private practice roles, advising clients of all sizes, including universities, large corporations, small and medium-size enterprises, and startups. Peter’s practice focuses on: IP strategy, especially helping clients identify strategically important innovations to be protected with IP; IP portfolio management, including creating efficient cross-functional operations, developing KPIs for portfolio evaluation, developing and implementing internal policies and processes, developing budgets, and managing costs; invention disclosure reviews for universities; policies and procedures for open source software licensing compliance; acting as part-time in-house counsel, including managing outside counsel; and patent application preparation and prosecution.
