Cara Frey has more than 20 years of experience leading legal functions across the sports, entertainment, and media industries, with a focus on marketing, media, commercial and corporate law matters. She advises clients on the planning, structuring, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including content distribution across multiple media platforms, sponsorships, consumer products licensing, marketing arrangements, and talent agreements. Known for her balanced and practical approach, Cara works closely with clients to align legal strategy with business objectives, helping them manage risk while supporting growth and creative execution.
Prior to her legal career, Cara represented numerous professional basketball players during the early years of the WNBA. She was captain of the Harvard Women’s Basketball team and led the NCAA in three-point shooting percentage during her junior year. Cara is a passionate Cubs fan and modern architecture nerd with two children and a bernedoodle named Wrigley.
