Lisa has been an attorney with Outside GC since 2009, having joined us after most recently being General Counsel at Charles River Ventures.

Lisa brings a wealth of experience to Outside GC representing both public and private clients and handling a wide range of corporate matters. Having served as in-house counsel as well as outside general counsel to companies for over 12 years, Lisa understands the importance of having a practical business perspective for her clients.

Lisa's clients at Outside GC include Monster Worldwide and LogMatrix.

At Charles River Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm with approximately $2.1 billion under management, Lisa was responsible for all legal matters, including portfolio company financings, fund formation and employee matters. Prior to joining Charles River Ventures, she was Associate General Counsel at Monster Worldwide serving as primary senior attorney for monster.com, supporting its product, sales, business development, alliances, finance and marketing functions. Lisa joined Monster Worldwide from Interactive Data Corporation where she was Assistant General Counsel advising management relating to SEC and NYSE compliance matters.

Lisa started her legal career at Hale and Dorr, LLP (now WilmerHale) where she was a junior partner specializing in the representation of emerging venture-backed technology companies.

She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New York. Lisa holds a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University and a J.D. cum laude from Boston University School of Law.

Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and coaches her son's kindergarten soccer team. Before moving to the suburbs and becoming a soccer mom, Lisa was an ice hockey player and captain of the Brown Varsity Women's Ice Hockey Team during her senior year in college.
