Peter has been an attorney with Outside GC since 2008.

Peter offers his clients extensive and varied experience as a business lawyer and senior business executive and a deep background in medical devices and technology. He is experienced in deal and contract structuring and negotiations, strategy, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate governance, public and private securities offerings, regulatory compliance, intellectual property management, litigation supervision, and management of outside counsel.

Peter's clients at Outside GC include MedPanel LLC, M2S, Inc., and LeMaitre Vascular.

He has served as Vice President, Corporate Development for Smith & Nephew Endoscopy, a world leader in sports medicine; Vice President, Business Development and Marketing for Anika Therapeutics, a world leader in the medical applications of hyaluronic acid; and Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Summit Technology, Inc. formerly a world leader in refractive surgery devices. Most recently, Peter served as Founder and President of Julia Therapeutics, an early stage medical device company developing a novel, energy-based device for treating skin wrinkles. For many years he was a partner in Goldstein & Manello, a Boston law firm where he built a successful practice representing entrepreneurs, high-technology businesses and acquisition-oriented clients.

Peter obtained a JD from Columbia University Law School and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as a member of the Steering Committee for University of Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2), a state-funded innovation center that assists entrepreneurs in the medical device segment.
