Jon Levitt has been Managing Member of Outside GC since co-founding the business in 2002.
Jon has served as general counsel to both public and private companies in the US and the UK, and has also been responsible for managing finance, HR, IT and administrative functions for his clients. This broad legal and business experience has enabled to Jon to offer his clients highly practical legal and business counsel. Jon's practice is focused primarily on venture-backed technology companies, especially those in the enterprise software space.
Before co-founding Outside GC, Jon was Vice President and General Counsel for Quadstone, a Scottish-based CRM analytics vendor. At Quadstone, Jon was responsible for all of the corporation's legal affairs in both the US and the UK, and also managed the corporation's US-based finance, HR, IT, facilities and administrative functions and employees. Before joining Quadstone, Jon was Vice President and General Counsel for Inso Corporation (later eBT International, NASDAQ:EBTI), an international enterprise software company. While at Inso, Jon handled multiple domestic and international business acquisitions and divestitures, oversaw the settlement of two class action shareholder lawsuits, managed a formal Securities and Exchange Commission inquiry, and developed a web-based contracts process that allowed the legal department to efficiently draft and negotiate over one hundred license agreements per quarter. Jon began his legal career in private practice, first at Mintz Levin, where he worked primarily on large corporate transactions, and then at Lucash Gesmer & Updegrove, where he focused on intellectual property and software licensing.
Jon is a graduate of Northwestern University and Northeastern University School of Law.
Jon is involved in a leadership role on community and non-profit boards and committees, including the Board of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies and Jewish Federations of North America, and is a member (and Board member) of the Boston chapter of EO, an international organization of entrepreneurs.
Jon grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, where he attended Classical High School.
Jon lives in Sharon, Massachusetts with his wife and four children. In his spare time he is honing his skills for a slot on The Next Food Network Star.
Bill Stone has been Managing Member of Outside GC since co-founding the business in 2002.
Bill has served both as outside general counsel for companies in a variety of industries, and as an executive business development professional. Bill's legal practice focused on international joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate counseling, primarily to technology companies.
Before co-founding Outside GC, Bill led an international business development team as VP Business Development for eBT International, Inc., a Nasdaq-traded enterprise software company. Prior to that, Bill served as Vice President Corporate Development and General Counsel for Verde Media, Inc., a venture capital-backed media company in San Francisco. Before joining Verde, Bill practiced law as a partner in the law firm Tonkon Torp LLP, where he co-founded the firm's technology practice group, and acted as general counsel to multiple technology, manufacturing, service and retail companies.
Prior to joining Tonkon Torp, Bill served as a law clerk in the chambers of the Honorable Mark L. Wolf in the federal district court in Boston, Massachusetts.
Bill is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Tufts University and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Harvard Law School, where he won the Williston Prize for contract negotiation and drafting.
Bill is a regular guest lecturer on venture capital transactions at Brown University and lectures on negotiation techniques at the University of Rhode Island. Bill serves on the Town Council of East Greenwich, RI, an elected position, and he serves on the board of directors of Rhode Island Public Radio, Rhode Island’s NPR station. Bill also serves on the board of the Bubs Foundation, a charitable organization Bill founded that provides music education opportunities to students in Boston-area public schools, and he serves on the Endowment Committee of Westminster Unitarian Church in East Greenwich, RI. Finally, Bill is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
Bill grew up in Montclair, NJ, where he attended the Montclair Kimberley Academy. Bill is an avid tennis player, a singer in any shower and loves cooking, especially for his wife, Carolyn Mark, and his children, Ben and Teah.
Jill serves as the COO for Outside GC LLC and its sister organization Patent GC LLC, and also as an attorney on our team.
Jill’s practice focuses upon healthcare, life sciences, business law, and litigation oversight gained during 20 years of practice. She brings a unique combination of legal, operational, and strategic experience. For a decade, she served as General Counsel and Compliance Officer for a health services company. In addition, Jill has over ten years of experience in litigation and litigation oversight across the US for the nation’s largest banks and manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and industrial products. She delivers an operationally astute approach and is a proven solver of complex problems. Jill is known for her business-focus, pragmatism, and ability to harmonize business operations with legal requirements to efficiently realize corporate goals.
Jill joined Outside GC in 2014 and worked extensively with Genzyme Corporation doing promotional and medical review for multiple drugs, as well as drafting and negotiating supply, joint venture and quality agreements.
For a decade before joining Outside GC, Jill was General Counsel and Compliance Officer to a healthcare services company that served diverse healthcare providers and institutions. Jill has also represented numerous pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. She has advised clients in healthcare contracting, audit and compliance, and the interface of technology and healthcare. She possesses broad knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid, fraud and abuse defense, the False Claims Act, HIPAA, the Sunshine Act, electronic health records, coding, and healthcare reimbursement. Throughout her career, she reviewed and negotiated a broad range of contracts for day-to-day business operations including vendor/supplier agreements, software licenses, and leases. She is passionate about healthcare, innovation and partnering with clients to attain their objectives.
Most recently, Jill was the Vice President of Contested Litigation for a national commercial law firm with offices in 28 states, overseeing over 100 attorneys and 26,000 litigation cases for the nation’s largest banks and financial services companies. For the entirety of her over 20 years of practice, Jill has managed and trained staff to comply with federal and state regulations. She skillfully created a program to manage thousands of lawsuits filed to collect upon $250 million dollars of debt owed to the nation’s largest banks. Jill simultaneously maximized efficiencies and minimized risks and costs, which led to industry-leading performance in commercial litigation.Jill is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Michigan. She graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Boston College Law School. Additionally, Jill founded KidzKIND, a community of parents and kids who perform short and sweet, service projects to engage kid’s compassion and offset the screen time that typifies modern childhood. Jill also founded CaregiverKIND, a community designed to support, energize, and inform caregivers of loved ones undergoing medical challenges. She also serves on a number of boards for healthcare related organizations. Jill was raised in Lexington, Massachusetts. She could not get enough American revolutionary history so she and her family now reside in the equally historic town of Concord, Massachusetts, spending time outside and cheering on her children when they play field hockey and basketball.

A seasoned accounting and finance professional, prior to joining OGC Judy was Controller for 2 real estate companies located in Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Hawai’i – Manoa with a BBA in Finance and Human Resource Management. A native of Boston, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, going to the beach and optimistically working on improving her golf game.

Wendy Kranseler is part of the Business Operations team for both Outside GC and Patent GC. Prior to joining the firm, Wendy was Senior Licensing Paralegal at Hasbro, Inc. Wendy graduated from Providence College. Wendy lives in Sharon with her husband Larry and 3 children and cute little fluffy dog Brady. In her spare time, Wendy enjoys traveling with her family, as well as playing tennis (but not with her husband anymore because the last time they played a friendly match, he ruptured his Achilles!)

Holli Ryter is part of the Business Operations team for both Outside GC and Patent GC. Prior to joining the firm, Holli was Firm Administrator and Billing Coordinator at Ryter & Company, a CPA and financial services firm. Previously, Holli held positions as Retirement Plan Administrator and Consultant at The New England Life Insurance Company and prior to that worked as a Benefits Specialist in the Actuarial, Benefits and Compensation Consulting Division at Coopers & Lybrand. Holli graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.S. in Business Administration. Holli lives in Sharon with her husband and 3 children. In her spare time, Holli enjoys traveling with her family as well as being outdoors running, biking and walking her dog.

Lynn Kuzneski is part of the Business Operations team for Outside GC, handling marketing and communications projects on a part-time basis. Lynn joined the firm in 2014 after a hiatus in her professional life to raise her two children. Prior to that time, Lynn practiced corporate law with Edwards & Angell LLP (now Locke Lord LLP) for several years, followed by a position with Brown University’s Office of Gift Planning. Lynn graduated from Providence College, summa cum laude, with a B.S. in Political Science and earned a J.D. from Case Western Reserve School of Law. She is a frequent volunteer at her children's school, and also serves on the Board of Directors of Bruno United F.C. In addition to spending time with her family, Lynn enjoys travelling, gardening and reading a good book.
