Lloyd Levenson has been with Outside GC since its inception in 2002.
Lloyd brings an exceptional combination of legal and business skills to Outside GC, combining extensive experience in transactional and licensing work with a background both in litigation and as a business development executive with an internet technology company. Since coming to Outside GC, Lloyd has provided practical and efficient advice and assistance on a large variety of matters, focusing on software licensing, strategic development agreements, channel relationships, service provision agreements, commercial conflict resolution, real estate, telecommunications, and general corporate matters. Lloyd has recently worked on a variety of alternative energy implementations, including solar- and wind-powered applications.
At Outside GC, Lloyd’s clients include both Fortune 500 companies and small to mid-sized technology companies. Lloyd's practice extends from providing expert advice on intellectual property and business strategy matters to providing comprehensive day-to-day legal services for smaller companies.
Before joining Outside GC, Lloyd was Vice President and General Counsel for Red Sky Interactive, a 500-employee internet consulting and design company, where he was responsible for all of the company's legal affairs, and also served in a business development role. Prior to that, Lloyd spent 11 years in private practice in the San Francisco area, having started his legal career at McCutchen, Doyle, Brown and Enersen, (now Bingham McCutchen) and Hancock, Rothert and Bunshoft (now Duane Morris).
Lloyd received his A.B cum laude in Government from Harvard University and received his J.D. cum laude from Boston College Law School.
Lloyd served as a Judge Pro Tem in the Alameda County Municipal Court, Small Claims Division, from 1992-1997, and is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and California. In his spare time, Lloyd enjoys collecting wine and vintage toys, and travelling with his family.
