Mary brings to Outside GC over twenty years' of legal experience serving an
array of clients in high-tech, services, and products businesses. With the benefit
of such experience, Mary's strengths and interests lie in learning about her clients'
businesses and providing pragmatic legal advice and support to help these clients
achieve their business goals. Mary served as General Counsel to Switchboard, Inc.,
an Internet directory company which was a subsidiary of Banyan Systems, Inc.
Mary came to Banyan after nine years as in-house counsel at Digital Equipment
Corporation supporting the purchasing, customer services, and sales groups
within the company. She also served as Special Assistant to the General Counsel
of Digital. Mary began her career at the Boston law firms of Ricklefs & Uehlein
and Goldstein & Manello. She graduated magna cum laude from University of
Massachusetts at Boston and obtained her J.D. degree from Boston University
School of Law.
