With over 15 years of providing in-house legal counsel to a number of companies
in the high tech sector, Jennifer brings to her clients not only a full range of
legal skills, but also a deep understanding of the real world, real-time challenges
faced by businesses in today's fast-paced and competitive environment. As General
Counsel to these companies, she has a proven record in negotiating large-scale
contracts, effectively supporting and promoting strategic business goals, working
with multi-disciplinary teams and third parties, supporting international business
relationships, managing litigation, overseeing employment matters, and managing
day-to-day legal issues. She has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating
a broad range of contracts, including agreements for professional services, s
oftware licensing, real estate arrangements, consulting projects, outsourcing,
product distribution, strategic partnerships and vendor/supplier relationships.
She has also established and overseen the operations of human resource departments
and compliance with federal, state and international employment laws, and has
successfully managed and resolved employment disputes, including EEOC claims.
Jennifer strongly believes that each business has its own unique culture, objectives,
interests, and concerns, and that an individualized focus is essential to providing
the best legal services to each company with whom she works. She is also convinced
that for legal services to be of real value, they must be informed and supported by
sound judgment, business pragmatism, operational flexibility and trusted discretion.
Jennifer received her legal and undergraduate degrees from Harvard University.
